Domain name dispute

Practical steps: Domain name dispute

Any complaints or claims regarding a domain name can be lodged via abuse@your provider.com (Abuse Department), with the following documents and information required:

  • The trademark, name, any forms of marks, or other indicia of origin (“mark”) that is claimed to be infringed;
  • Registration certificate and number of the mark;
  • The owner of the mark, including the name, registered address and telephone number;
  • Background, such other information of the mark;
  • A description of the infringement of the mark, the manner, method, location;
  • Sufficient evidence that disputed domain or website is a customer of your provider; and
  • Such other documents which your provider may request for the purposes of the complaint.
