- Pre-requisite (add CNAME and SRV records for the domain through the DNS provider or control panel where the domain nameserver is managed)
Example record
CNAME Records for autodiscover:
Autodiscover IN CNAME sm.hostname.com
SRV Records for autodiscover
_Autodiscover._tcp IN SRV 0 0 443 sm.hostname.com
sm.hostname refers to the mail server hostname for example smtppro39.mschosting.com
Refer to the Welcome Email for details about the mail server. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding the DNS setup.
Installation steps

Open Microsoft Outlook > File > Add Account

Enter your email address and click on Advanced options, then check the box for “Let me set up my account manually.”

Select Exchange.

Click Next to continue.

Your setup should now be complete.

Restart Microsoft Outlook to apply the changes.
