How to configure an email account on an Android Smartphone
1. Locate the email icon or mail application on your smartphone.
2. Next, input your email address and password, then select “Manual Setup”.
- The Mail Options will allow you to configure with POP3, IMAP, or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
IMAP is highly recommended, as it enables users to sync and access their emails across multiple devices.
- For incoming server settings, you can refer to the screenshot below as an example.
Username: user@domain.com where this should be your email address.

Then select Next.

6. For account options, you may choose your preferred settings or leave them as default.
